Where's Latitude 41 gone?

I notice that a great source of neo-cartographic discussion, www.41latitude.com, is now blank with no goodbye message. Anyone know what's happened? I have an idea but if anyone's got any firm news I'd be interested to hear.

The @41latitude Twitter account and justinobeirne.com have also gone. A great shame.

Are there any backups or chached versions of the GoogleMaps Label articles?

Not that I know of Konrad

They owner in his last blog post said that his work was done, the things he wanted to write about finished. I understood that to mean that he wont write anymore but not that the entire blog would be taken away. He had done some excellent meticulous analyses. I tried looking for a cache some weeks back but found nothing.

Momers,

I read a blog by a Googler last week (sorry, lost the link) where he said that a] he wasn't working for Google b] he thought he'd been absorbed by Apple since they are closed like this. Sounded sensible to me.

re 'meticulous analysis' yup, some incredible detail in there, its all I can do to write a blog post a week....

Guys, guess what...i found most of the posts of this guy in my Google Reader feed, archived probably!

Time to copy paste I say? Whats the best way to get all the feeds from there?

If you subscribe to blog in the Google Currents feed, you will again get most of the posts. Though his last bye bye post is missing I think.

So you want copy paste?
